First Impressions / Reviews:

So, I'll be honest and say I picked this one up just because I liked the packaging, haha. I loved how sleek the tube looked. HOWEVER, after trying this mascara out a couple of times, I've decided it doesn't do much for me. My lashes tend to fall straight when wearing it, even when I curl beforehand.
The Verdict: Not For Me

This is actually my normal, everyday mascara that I've been wearing for years. My lashes stay curled and it gives me some extra volume/length.
The Verdict: Still My Go-To Drugstore Mascara

I've seen the commercial for this one about a zillion times on TV (featuring the first ever male Covergirl!!) so of course I had to purchase and test it out. The applicator is really nice because it has a spikey ball on the end that helps get those bottom lashes easily. This mascara is really buildable, so you can do multiple coats to amp up your lashes until they are where you want them. I like it, but I will probably still stick to my Covergirl mascara I mentioned above.
The Verdict: Nice, Buildable

This has been my go-to foundation for years, so this was just a re-purchase. It's incredibly high coverage, which I love because I have uneven skin. This one may not be everyone's cup of tea (especially for day-to-day wear) but it's great for an event where you will be taking lots of pics.
The Verdict: My Favorite Drugstore Foundation

Milani Baked Blush (in "Berry Amore"):
In the past, I've always worn Bobbi Brown blushes (i.e. not drugstore blush) because my mom started me on them at a young age. But when I ran out recently and needed to pick some up in a pinch, I grabbed this blush on a quick CVS run. So far, I've really liked it! I can't do light blushes because they won't show up against my skin, but I like this mix of pink, brown, and gold tones. Note that it is sparkly, so I wouldn't suggest this one if you prefer a matte blush.
The Verdict: A Great Drugstore Blush

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (in "Milan"):
I haven't gotten to wear this one for an extended period of time yet, but my first impression was a positive one. I like the punchy pink color.
The Verdict: Jury Is Still Out

Let's be real: I picked this one up because it was JLo's shade in L'oreal's collection of nudes - JLo is my girl! But after looking at all of the other shades in the collection, I still agreed it was my favorite one. I really love this color with my skin tone; a great nude for everyday wear.
The Verdict: Great Everyday Nude

NYX Butter Gloss (in "Merengue")
I love NYX's butter glosses! I've purchased a few before and Merengue is the shade I keep coming back to. It's a great soft pink that is flattering to most skin tones. I still usually wear it over a lipstick though, just because I like to have defined lips.
The Verdict: Favorite Drugstore Gloss Right Now

Milani Lip Liner (in "Nude")
This is my holy grail drugstore liner. Although it is called "nude" it's actually more of a brownish pink (does that even make sense?? haha). I would recommend this lip liner to literally anyone who wanted to try out liner at a cheaper price than the kinds at Sephora. I also have this liner in the shade "Spice" which is another good one to try!
The Verdict: You Need This Lip Liner

So I've been a girly girl all my life, but at age 21 I am just now learning how to use a curling iron! I've always used a curling wand, but I finally decided I wanted to change up my hair and that a curling iron would give me the look I wanted. So I picked this one up and, after watching a few YouTube videos to learn how to use a curling iron, I am in love! I really love the ribbon curl look it gives my hair. The 1 1/4" barrel works well with my hair length/thickness.
The Verdict: LOVE

I was not blessed with long lashes at all, and I can't justify investing in lash extensions right now! So, I got the next best thing: a lash primer. You just put it on before your mascara and it gives a little extra length and volume. It freaked me out at first because I didn't expect it to be white, haha. But it definitely gave my lashes an extra little oomph.
The Verdict: A Nice Lash Lengthening Product

I hope this was helpful for my girls who love the makeup aisle at CVS/Walgreens/Target! Let me know if there's any other products you're interested in seeing a review on :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Xo,
Karli
