Christmas is SO soon, y'all! And one of the best Christmas traditions is whipping up some sugar cookies with your loved ones. The awesome team over at SFT sent us some adorable tees and a yummy Christmas cookie recipe to share with you guys!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Joyeaux Noel Sugar Cookies
1/2 lb. butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 tsps. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
Cream all of the above by hand or mixer until smooth.
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsps. baking powder
4 cups flour
Mix all off the above & then add to butter mixture.
Add 1/4 cup milk & mix again. Chill.
Roll out & cut out with cookie cutter. Bake @ 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or decorate with cookie icing and sprinkles.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This recipe and Louisiana cookie cutter were included in SFT's most recent Local Lagniappe Box - which is a Louisiana-themed box of curated, local products that they send out once a month! I'll be doing a little review on that next month, but today I just wanted to spread a little Christmas cheer by sharing this recipe with y'all.
I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season and jamming out to Christmas music in the car! Love you guys and thanks so much for stopping by.
Xo, Karli
(P.S. The PJ shorts I am wearing in these pics are so soft!! They're a fuzzy material and have cute little pom poms on the strings. I picked them up on my latest Target run and had to share, haha.)
